Belgravia Group celebrates topping off of Portico in North Scottsdale
Belgravia Group, the award-winning Chicago-based developer behind North Scottsdale’s Portico luxury condominium community, has marked a major construction milestone with the topping off of the development.
Portico was developed as a key piece of DMB’s One Scottsdale project, a 120-acre mixed-use development situated at the premier intersection of the Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road that will bring a mix of residential, hotel and top retail and restaurants to the area.
Portico has been fully sold out since April, surpassing sales expectations and signaling a strong luxury condominium market in North Scottsdale. First deliveries are slated for this fall, with the full completion of the project estimated to be completed in spring 2025.
In addition to Portico, Belgravia Group recently announced DRB approval for its second North Scottsdale development, Atavia. Developed adjacent to Portico at the Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale “new luxury corridor,” Atavia will bring a limited collection of 88 luxury residences to the heart of DMB’s One Scottsdale project.
“Belgravia Group’s key stakeholders have wintered in Scottsdale for the last several years, and we are privileged to debut a community where homeowners can enjoy the best of the southwestern lifestyle that our team has fully embraced,” said Elizabeth Brooks, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Belgravia Group. “Portico was our first Scottsdale development, and now with the announcement of Atavia, our team is happy to make Scottsdale our home away from home.”
The nine-building community features one- through four-bedroom floor plans with up to 2,678 square-feet of indoor-outdoor living space. Amenities include an outdoor pool and spa, upscale clubhouse, state-of-the-art fitness center, and picturesque views of the McDowell Mountains. Homes were sold from the $600s to $2 million.
“It’s been such a remarkable process to see Portico transition from a passion project to a full-fledged community,” said Keith Mishkin, CEO and President of Cambridge Properties, which represents the project. “Even throughout an unusual housing market, Portico has outsold our most ambitious projections and timelines. We can’t wait to see what Belgravia Group does next in the area.”
Since its sales debut, Portico has been twice named Multi-Family Project of the Year by Phoenix Agent Magazine and Multi-Family Project of the Year by The Scottsdale Progress. Portico was brought to life by Chicago-based architecture firm KTGY.
“Portico is an excellent example of blending a dynamic urban aesthetic with the serenity of suburban desert life,” said Craig Pryde, Principal at KTGY. “We are grateful for our close collaboration with Belgravia Group to bring to life such a desirable living space. KTGY’s thoughtful design takes advantage of the scenic desert backdrop and offers residents a balance between indoor and outdoor living.”
